Letter from A.A. Bear to Harry George noting and discussing his change in position and address.
The letterhead reads Department of the Interior, United States Indian Service.
Dear Sir:-
Owing to the confusion due to my change in position, I have neglected replying to your favor of some time past. I am glad that you like the little plaque which I sent you., and thank you for the check which was enclosed.
As you may not, my address is now at the above. I was offered and accepted a transfer to this place, and shall be in the service here indefinitely. So far as my observations up to the present time, I am inclined to think the natives here do little or nothing in the way of basketry. However if at any time you may wish to confer with me along any line concerning these people, I shall be glad to be of any service to you.
Thanking you for your favors and courtesies I am,
Yours truly,Subject
A. A. Bear.
