Letter from F.M. Gilham to Harry George noting the shipment of items and discussing baskets. Vol 1 P. 170A
(A two-page letter:)
Mr. Harry L. George
I am sorry I cannot go up to Oregon to see you. You see it is about
500 Miles from S. F. to Eugene City Oregon and 100 miles from here to
S. F. If you go to San Francisco , be sure and run up here to see me and
my collections , you will never regret it. I will give you all the cream chicken
& ????? you can eat and if you wish you can you can stay as long as you
wish - no charge. You ought to visit (the) S. F. museums (they are )
all in a bunch at the Golden Gate Park
Academy of Science
Affiliated College
Golden Gate Museum.
I would like very much to see you and have you see my collection even
if you do not buy.
Telegraph me from S. F. the day you will come up.
With respect
