Description

Letter from H.B. Ferguson to Harry George discussing books and reports. Vol 1 P. 142C My dear Mr. George: This morning's mail brought your letter followed in the next delivery by the book. I am enclosing seventy six cents to repay you the postage and wish you would put a price on the publication. I know how difficult it is to obtain "Mason on Basketry" for have I not labored for years? I am a stickler for accuracy and this Smithsonian Report will be invaluable especially for the basketry of the south. I note your efforts to secure Emmaus Basketry but have many reasons for believing you will fail. ????? Emmaus' Basketry has one extra copy but is unwilling to part with it. I made a good buy on that lot of baskets Sunday. With thanks
