A handwritten letter from H.B. Ferguson to Harry George discussing a suit and beaver skull. Vol 1 P. 144F
Dear Sir:
Thanks for the check, twenty dollars, just received. I will endeavor, this summer, to obtain the trousers to complete your suit but you must agree not to send the order broadcast, as you did for the sled.
You intend to send price and description of beaver skull and almost within the hour of reading your letter word comes to me that "----------------- is packing a beaver skull, mail order"
What's your object? Seems an unfair way of doing write me for price & e and give the order to another in the same mail Can't you wait until you can hear from one?
Don't misunderstand - I criticize your manner of ordering, not where you place your order. I'm still hunting a location and it is not to be found. Looks very much as if I will have to go out of business (the last line is cut off and illegible)Subject
