Description

Handwritten letter from H.B. Ferguson to Harry George discussing a suit and beaver skull. Vol 1 P. 144G Dear Sir: Forwarding by insured mail today a small box containing a hair seal belt to which is attached a hunting knife in scabbard, a tobacco box, also a jacket. There is a jade drill, jade knife and an ordinary bow. Unless you have an outlet for such articles I'm sure you are already stocked but the owner insisted on shipping to someone. The outfit came, just as it is from one Eskimo and it must be purchased as a whole we want twenty five dollars. Do not hesitate to return. I would like that jade in my own case. I do not recall receiving an order from you for a dog whip. I have none - never did have- but probably can obtain one next summer. To get the real article it will have to come from Siberia. Sincerely,
