Dear Sir:
Many thanks for your of Oct. 14th. In reply to same will state you may send us, at your convenience, one each of the baskets made by the three different tribes under your care. The Mohave, the Tonto and the Yuma-Apache. I hardly know how to divide up the check and enough has not been sent to secure suitable specimens, I will be glad to add to the same. In your letter of Sept. first you give a wide range of prices. I do not care for the Waste paper basket at all. Perhaps in the butter bowl shape you may find something that will come within the range of what the draft calls for. I care more for fine, good specimens than I do for large ones and those that may not be considered quite as desirable. In seeing the baskets, please mark each one so I may know one tribe work from another. You may send these blankets by express, which will settle the matter of postage. If you cannot send them by express, send them by mail and I will remit for any shortage there may be.
Yours very truly,
(handwritten)
