Description

Vol 1 P. 237C Letter from Harry George to C.A. Haley noting the items he is interested in from the photograph list and discussing prices. Dear Sir: I have your favor dated the ninth, and replying to same will state that I do not like to name a price on any ones merchandise without first knowing what they want for what they have to offer. The photographs give me a good idea of the articles which you offer for sale, but I can only guess at the condition which they may be in. I am interested in the following: The Image " Box " Doctors Staff " Hat " Totem Pole " Wand " Wooden Pitcher " Masks and offer you $75.00 for these items boxed ready for shipment. In making you this offer I do so not because I need the items especially, having duplicates of the same in m collection, but to give you an opportunity to say what you want for them if the price dos not meet with aproval. In any event let me hear from you. I do not care for the Crown which surmounts the Wooden Image, as have one of the same in my collection. In fact there is nothing that you offer for sale but are duplicates of the collection which I already have. Hoping to hear from you promptly, I remain, Yours truly
