Dear Sir:
Many thanks for yours of July 24th. It is a pleasure to receive a letter from anyone that takes as much pains as you do to describe what I might be able to find for my collection in your part of the country. I am interested in the work of the Indians under your care, and If you can let me know when they have anything for sale, what the price will be and whether they are distinctly Indian in their type or not I may be able to send you an order.
