Dear Sir :
If you will have made in duplicate a list of the articles from the South Sea Islands, giving as closely as you can description of each article and stating of what the same constates, whether woven or made from other materials, I think I will have a good chance to interest my friend in the same.
Also if you can state from what South Sea Islands the same may have been procured. Make this list in duplicate as my friend sails from San Francisco on the 23rd of September and I want to reach his before he leaves San Francisco as the possibilities are that he cannot be reached again during the next six months.
