Letter from Julia A.E. Haley to Harry George discussing the delay in responding and describing items for sale.
Dear Sir,
Will you not pardon me for my long delay I must say I have been so very busy I could not write you Now that I have more time why - I will write you and give you prices and will do my best in assisting you in getting your collection together.
Many prominent people from New York this summer thought I had the finest collection of Antiques. My Mahogany collection of Old furniture ????? Most the old lrge Bldgs. and the Russian Germ. house will be at the San Francisco Fair. There are pieces that cannot be bought in any store and old copper wear. My old Copper pieces were made in Sitka. I have had many calls from the out side world this year then ever before from people who are trying to complete their collection in five days not five years.
