Letter from M.J. Kohlberg to Harry George discussing items from Mr. Rosenblatt and a Yei Bi Chei rug. Vol I pg. 309A
Dear Mr. George:
I shall appreciate it very much if Mr. Rosenblatt will let me know about the bead work.
I had a buyer here to-day from New York and he opened the trunk and went through the stuff,
but when I showed him Mr. Rosenblatt's price list he turned the bunch down flat, wouldn't look at it.
We paid $6.17 express on the trunk and unless I get a satisfactory reply within the next
few days, I shall return the trunk and its contents, C. O. D. $6.17.
The figures on the corn stalks which you were in doubt about, represent ears of corn
as I suspected. You will find that they are missing on the other half of the rug and following is the explanation: The half of the rug showing the corn (the symbol of productiveness) is used in the treatment of female patients. The other half without the corn is used in the treatment of male patients.
Trusting that I will have an early reply from Mr. Rosenblatt, I remain
Yours truly,Subject
