Letter from M.J. Kohlberg to Harry George acknowledging receipt of check and discussing a lavalier chain and a Chinese tablecloth. The letterhead includes an illustration of an American flag on a fringed background. Vol I pg. 305D
Dear Mr. George:
I received your letter inclosing check for $120.20, in payment of your account, for which I thank you.
I had the chain on the lavalier lengthened and return same by insured parcel post. Mr Clark charged $1.25.
The lady from whom I bought the Chinese drawn work table cloth is out of the city and will not return for a week or two. As soon as she comes back I will find out if I can get another from her. She has two more, and she told me at the time that she did not care to sell them, but might change her mind and sell one. I will let you know.
Yours truly,
(handwritten note at the bottom)
