My Dear Mr. George -
I am in a beautiful spot on the beach & while we are enjoying ourselves I am picking up some baskets in my travels for you. I have an exceptional opportunity of getting $100.00 worth of fine specimens in addition to the 50.00 but it will be many more specimens some people who have collected years ago need many - some go away & in this way I can get good specimens. Can I spend that much for you and I am on the spot of Dat so la lee.
The lower one of hers is ??? so we can't catch it but I can get from point the genuine
Dat so la lee is only (____) most beautiful work designs. (3 diamond shapes Louise)
If I can spend 100.00 more ^ for specimens wire me at Pasadena - I will be here Wed & Thursday, & then you can send me Draft to Portland or how high can I go for more. I as a dealer can get lower prices than you can, if it will be worth your while to be as liberal as you can for this opportunity is a good one - I will probably have to make a trip across the water & loose one whole day if I get this collection of Pomo's the feather basket I bought is a dream it is saucer shaped (drawn illustration) full of feathers ??? ????
I also saw an oblong one I will get it, also fine specimen. I see no apache, Oima or marriage basket. what do you mean by Navajo, describe it shape design & where you got it.
Describe - apache - Describe Tulare what shape what design - Have you bottle neck answer quick - better wire me particulars if you say spend 100.00 I will know you want good specimens if Pomos say are possible in wire as I must hurry home now.
Kind regardsSubject
