Description

A two page handwritten letter from Mrs. J. Frohman to Harry George noting the enclosure of an item list with prices and describing the same. It is on The Portland letterhead. Vol 1 P. 146J My Dear Mr George, I am sending you the first col of baskets I have ever had all fine specimens and good. I ran over your budget a little but you will be foolish if you do not keep them all. I got some from private collections and consider them all great bargains. The small Missions of course were rare but it is good design and awfully good coloring. The large hamper I intended for myself to keep things it. The baskets all came in it but it's such a nice thing to ship the baskets to you in, so that no harm comes to them that I decided to send it you. It is from Pemberton Meadows and I'd like to have it back if you don't care for it. The design and shape is rare. I have left the original prices on some of the baskets. Will be pleased to have you send me check as soon as possible, as I have ???? on the money for these goods. Hoping that you will be pleased & that I will hear from you by return mail. Resp.
