Letter from Mrs. J. Frohman to Harry George noting she will hold a hat for him and describing a Skokomish basket she has secured for him. Vol 1 P. 146B
My Dear Mr. George,
Your few lines at hand. I will hold the hat for you, and I have just secured a beautiful skokomish basket for you which I recommend very highly it is an excellent specimen of the work and is worth the price asked for $12.00. Kindly let me hear from you soon about it, as I am holding it for you. There are always collectors after such good things as these and the squaw who made it is dead - five old ????? are all dead and is seldom you can get hold of as good a specimen as the one I have in reserve for you.
