Letter from N.G. Voorhies to J.G. Braecklein discussing the price of his Philippine collection.
Dear Mr. Braecklein,
Your communication of July 12 relating to my Philippine collection. Rec'd here and replying will state that the price of this collection is $1000. It is the most complete of the kind ever brought from the Islands. There will never be another like it.
It is a Moro collection and convened over two years work and hardship collecting. Can give place where obtained and history of each specimen. I am not anxious to dispose of it at this figure.
