Letter from Richard Tinsley to wife Ida

1: Centralia Mo Nov 17th 1859 Mrs Ida Tinsley Columbus Ind My Dear little wife, I received your first letter today written on Sunday last I was glad to hear from you But it only made me want to see you Wrote you to say that was the first opportunity that you had to send me a letter and in the same breath say that you had been to town and got your dress cut and had made it Now what was the reason that you did not send me a letter while you was in town I don’t understand Though I suppose you forgot it or rather me I did not think you would forget me so soon I have written every other and sometimes every night
