Dr Mr George-
I have yours of 12th. The Cheyenne Shield was from Old Spotted Hawk. In regard to our dealings, They have always been satisfactory. & I shall endeavor to do right by you & continue to please you. I have some collectors who will not buy of any one else- Now in regard to the Osage Scalp bundle Mr Vern Thornburgh offered you . I sold to him Apl 21st for 250.00 your shield was sold May 6th 250.00. I sell Mr Thornburg lots of goods & he seems very much- pleased am sending him shipment today on the shield I took a scalp shirt & few other goods pieces 66.00 in trade. I sold 1 bundle to eastern museum recently for 250.00 & 2 shields at 100.00. So you see I am handling your affairs ???? ????
Now in regard to the shot ????. The 1 sold you was a good old timers large 7.50 & those sold in the Collections are rather inferior - Hair poorly who has neither ??? 3 or 4 times for an old shot makers but can't ship as have but 1 & can't find it.
Shall be pleased to hear from you any time several collections buy of ??? & ???? to my customers. I try to keep away from this kind of business but I get into it. I refuse to sell ???? of ?? anything ???? as ?? only scalps & I had rather deal direct & I am middle mans profit. I have fine collection of old Wampum necklaces ????? may send on approval.

In regard to he Osage & Kans bundles. we have about all there is with ???? only 2 or 3 left they could be had for 10.00 each. I look for these bundles to be worth on next 500.00 soon. No one has any but us and I had just s soon hold them as to sell at 250.00 as they are a good investment.Subject
