And wonder who in the world it can be from and perhaps when you have opened it and see the signature might probably turn up those large illegible eyes and mouth a pouting lip say oh shoot I thought it was from the Calf but then in next breath say well I think the young man or old man if you will have it so is taking a liberty that was not granted him. Well I confess that I am and throw myself respectively on your mercy it is for you to decide to either pass this postscript by with silence or to give me a good lecture for having done so and in the next place forgive me for the sauce but really I think I have a good excuse for this. if you reacted you promised on the day you left to take me the joke about the challenge, and I was really afraid you would forget it before you returned.
