A single, two-sided folded page of 'Arrow Amateur' 47 June 1977Context
Front page contains several cartoons, old advertisements and quips. Inside page is a bold announcement for the AAPA Convention in HOUSTON on August 19 - 21. It posts DOOR PRIZES, Tips, Warnings, and DISCOUNTS!; Off The Ink Plate - The next 100 Years. The author suggests those who do not own or care about a printing press to see Edd Fuller's article in the May American Amateur Journalist on how to make good copy for offset printing. With 300 or so members, it is impossible for letterpress printers to print all the material they can produce. He hopes the long history of writers, printers, and publishers will keep on going for 100 years. Additional writings refer to the Miller beer commercial of the imploding of a tall building - that being the Robidoux Hotel in St Joe. He had previously suggested to the Chamber of Commerce that the hotel would be a good place for an AAPA convention. Following were a few words of wisdom.Collection
