Scope and Content

A single, double-sided, folded booklet from the "Arrow Amateur 126 July 1993"

Context

What's in a Name - The author tells the history of his 'PONY x Press' company. From Minneapolis and his private press named the Arrow Printery in the 1930's to his move to St. Joseph, Missouri and the revival of his printing hobby and new name.; 'Better Late Than Never' - accolades to two 50 year AAPA veterans; Ralph Babcock and Les Boyer.; STATISTICS GALORE -This publication commissioned The Institute of Savvy Statistics to discover why the National Debt got so high. The 87 page report showed as letterpress decreased, the debt increased in an inverse ratio. So the solution is to bring back letterpress and give them favored status.; OFF THE INK PLATE - Lee Hawes has attended over 40 conventions; we are fortunate to have a devoted letterpress preservationist as John Horn in our group; looking forward to the Dayton convention
