One large box. Inside are two smaller boxes, two bags, and medium box (disposed of due to poor condition)
Smaller box 1:
A fashions by fawn box that 33 projectile points/drills. All artifacts in this box are labeled 23CL13. Some have individual artifact numbers or other notes. Images are included. Some artifacts have pencil numbers on them. Box has "23CL11 FOSTER, 23CL13 AXES" written on the outside. No artifacts are labeled 23CL11, artifacts are not just axes.
Smaller box 2:
Salt water taffy box. Contains 13 stone tools (projectile points/drills/biface tools). All artifacts are only labeled with the site number 23CL13 with the exception of a single artifact labeled 23PL12.
Bag 1 is unlabeled. Within the bag is 7 hematite fragments, 3 rock fragments, and a sandstone abrader. Most artifacts are labeled with the 23CL13 site number. Some have the artifact number 2084, some are labeled RAINS.
Bag 2 is labeled BONE 23CL13. This bag contains six bone fragments; faunal remains including one mandible with teeth. Cortical bone is heavily damaged on some fragments. are labeled with artifact numbers : 2083 or 2084. Labeling is visible in image.
Medium box:
Plain brown box. The outside is labeled AVONDALE 23CL23, but every artifact inside is labeled 23CL13. Box contains 23 lithic tools : projectile points, grooved axes, celt, round stone tools, stone spheres, and biface tools. All artifacts are labeled 23CL13, some have artifact numbers on them and some have RAINES. Images included of individual labeling.Collection
