Lotus Club Annual Meeting Notice, September 5,1907. Letter on "The Lotus Club, Lake Contrary" letterhead. Note attached to letter handwritten "Sent to John J. Tootle." "Dear Sir: The Annual Mass Meeting of Members of the Lotus Club for the nomination of Offcers and Directors for next year will be held at the Commercial Club, Monday evening, September 9th, 1907 at 8 P.M. The Annual Election will be held at the Rock Island office, 6th and Edmond Sts., Monday, September 23, 1907. Polls will oopen at 9 A.M. and close 8 P.M. All member are urged to attend both these meetings as they will be of great importance to the future welfare of the Club. Please give the matter your attention. J.J. Horigan, J.J.
