Lure the Lore of Basketball in Missouri covers facts and anecdotes about the roundball sport in the Show-Me state. Through over 300 action photographs-many never before published- and an informative and entertaining text, the evolution on every level is covered from 1890, when the first game was played in the Joplin YMCA, through the next 100 years.
