Monthly time book for Male employees from April 1945 thru April 1946. Work area not designated.
Taped In the front of the log book is a list of the number of attendants on the payroll for the year1944.
The log book contains an alphabetized list of male employees for each month. Total days worked that month is listed behind each name. After the total days worked is the rate of pay for that employee. After the rate of pay there may be notations as to whether the employee resigned, quit, was discharged, had vacation or sick time, was transferred, or any other notation that was pertinent to that employee.
New employees starting during the month were added on at the end of the alphabetized list of employees.
In May of 1945 there is a newspaper article taped to the page. This article is about an employee who fatally beat a patient here at the state hospital.
