Monthly time book for male& female employees from January 1937 thru October 1939. Work area is for the kitchen & dining room.
Paper clipped to the inside front page is a note to Miss Keller stating that she should report the following information to the superintendent's secretary 's office on the first day of each month:
-Names of employees entering service the preceding month & date started.
-Names of employees leaving service the preceding month & date left.
-Names of employees taking vacation the preceding month.
-Names of employees taking sick leave or leave of absence for preceding month.
The log book contains an alphabetized list of male & female employees for each month. Total days worked that month is listed behind each name. After the total days worked is the rate of pay for that employee. Behind each name is the employees duty ( cook, chef. dining room, etc.). These duties were filled in thru November of 1938 when they no longer were added after the name.
New employees starting during the month were added on at the end of the alphabetized list of employees.
