Mammals of North America, Volume I includes maps showing the zoogeography of the various Classes of mammals in North America. Its mongraphs include descriptions and measurements of each species along with illustrations of the mammal and its skeletal system. They are organized by Class, Order, Superfamily, Family, Genus. There is an appendix of vernacular and technical names.
