Mansfield Allen G, Missouri Land Grand Certificate. 1850. It appears by the duplicate receipts of the Register and Receiver of the Land Office at Savannah in the State of Missouri, that Allen G. Mansfield of the County of Buchanan did on the 24 day of December, 1850 purchase the southeast quarter of section 10 in Township 57 of Range 35 containing 160 acres, at the price $1.25 per acre, being part of the lands selected under an act of Congress entitled "An act to appropriate the proceeds of the Public Lands and Grant Pre-emption Rights" approved September 4, 1841, for the sum of $200. Full payment has been made by Allen Mansfield. Signed by Austin A. King, governor of Missouri October 1851.
