Qualitative Performance in the Maze Test is a booklet by S.D. Porteus. This test is considered a test of temperament.
The Maze test was introduced with the statement that there existed at the time "an urgent need for a series of tests which will put to the proof the capacities of prudence, forethought, mental alertness, and power of sustained attention. It was thought that the maze test represented a more or less satisfactory fulfillment of this need.
