Mental Health Association of St. Joseph, Inc. By-Laws & Committees, 1979. Describes the organization established to advocate and provide referral services for persons with mental health issues that operated in St. Joseph from about 1977 to perhaps 1989.
At one time the group had a membership of 300 supporting its activities, was funded by United Way, and had a full-time executive director. The organization seemed to struggle to maintain financing needed.
