Merrifield, Josephine Clair Funeral Book, 1963. Funeral Book and Guest Registry upon the death of Mrs. Merrifield, wife of Douglas Merrifield, who was President of St. Joseph Light and Power (and later Mayor of St. Joseph). Mrs. Merrfield died in Arizona while on vacation. She was the daughter of Anton Faulbaber, the credit manager for Block Brothers Clothing Company. She was a graduate of Academy of Sacred Heart in St. Joseph and the Sacred Heart College in Cincinnati. She is interred in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, St. Joseph, Missouri.
The guest register includes the signature of most St. Joseph dignitaries in 1963. Inserted is a black & white photo of Mrs. Merrifield in her coffin. Several obituaries are pasted or inserted into the book.
