Messmore, Emma (Mrs. Charles W. Willey) 4th Child of Jasper Messmore I, Portrait Photos (2), 1888. Sister to Orral Messmore Robidoux. 92.48.80 = Formal portrait photo of young woman with dark hair, swept back, curly bangs. ¾ length photo. sepia. She is wearing a dark bodice, with brass button front, and piping scrollwork ending in high collar. Her similar skirt is pleated in front with bustle in back. Handwritten on back: "Mrs. Chas. W. Willey, nee Emma Messmore, 1888 A.D." 92.48.81 = Formal Portrait Photo of Emma Messmore & Charles Willey, head/shoulders view. b/young Couple, man standing on her right side and behind. He has dark hair and large mustache, otherwise clean shaven, wearing a dark jacket, buttoned at top with knotted tie. She is wearing a dark bodice with large puff sleeves, ending and ribbon bow on each shoulder. The bodice is pleated in front and rises to a high collar. Her hair is center parted, pulled back with small bun on top at back. secured with rounded decorative hair pin. Photo by Chase, Hiawatha, Kansas. Handwritten on back: "Chas. W. Willey, Mrs. Chas. W.
