Context

Miscellaneous correspondence between museum directors and people interested in donating artifacts to the museum. 1. Don L. Reynolds and Katherine Corey (1980). Corey had the diary of Royal Baldwin, the Indian Agent for the Kickapoo Indians and was wanting to sell it to the museum. The museum was unable to purchase the diary. 2. Don L. Reynolds and Bill Larsaw (1977). Larsaw visited the museum and asked about a peace medal in the museum's collection that had confirmed ties to Chief James White Cloud but could not be confirmed to have been presented to the chief. 3. Mary M. Johnson (National Archives and Records Service, Washington D.C.) to Roy E. Coy (1960). Response from Johnson informing Coy that the microfilms of correspondence of the Bureau of Indian Affairs from the Sac and Fox Agency was completed and available for purchase. The typed correspondences have handwritten notes on them as well.
