"In 1996 negotiations between the St. Joseph Museum and the Miss Hyogo Doll Committee of Japan resulted in Marilyn Taylor (SJM staff member) traveling with Miss Hyogo from St. Joseph to Japan. Marilyn was there for 10 days making sure that Miss Hyogo would be comfortable for her visit.
In March, 1997, the St. Joseph Museum delegation left to participate in Miss Hyogo's opening at the Diamuru Department Store, a large mercantile outlet in Kobe.
The following is a record of that journey. We left March 18 and returned March 23, 1997."
