Missouri Valley Trust Interior, Guy Chestnut Photos, c. 1988. St. Joseph, Missouri. Color snapshots in mini-album. Various views of objects and architecture of this building located on S.E. corner, 4th & Felix.
A = Large wooden table with carved edging & legs.
B = Fireplace, brown/white marble bricks surround opening, iron grate over firepit. dark wood mantle. Clock on mantle, Mirror above mantle.
C = Dark (black) wood, carved pillar, next to gilded cage screen.
D = Vault door, Ornate arch above, and frame surround. Black/gold embellishments
E = Vault door, door itself, handle, combination disc, bold hinges.
F = High back, chair with cutouts, spindle legs, black, wood
G = Decorative wood counter, ornated panels along front.
H = Framed photo collection on wall of prominent St. Joseph figures, including M. Jeff Thompson, John Patee, John Corby, others.
I & J = Base with = the footrests of large, elaborately carved, wooden teller counter, brass spittoon on floor beside. red or brown/white mosaic tile floor.
K = Top of teller cage, elaborately carved "windows" of dark wood.
L = Mosaic tile floor design. red or brown/white.
M = Fireplace, black carved wood with upper reaches above mantle pyramid shape. Gold intertwined initials M,V, T (Missouri Valley Trust logo). Fireplace utensils beside.
N = Better photo of above fireplace. Date 1859 in gold at top. Logo in painted colors red/white/gold/blue.
O = Stone interior stairs leading to lobby area. dark wood paneled wall beside. Frame photo of bank as it originally appeared hung on panel.
P = Doorway arch into offices. Dark wood, elaborate carving. Typewriter on one desks. Blond wooden desk against wall.
