Mitakuye Oyasin " We are all related" is taken from lectures Dr Allen Ross had presented at a conference of concerned Native Americans in 1987. During the twenty years
previous, American Indians have experienced a renaissance of their language, culture, and religion. Many tribes have become conscious of their original names which when translated into English, mean "The People". The face that we are all one people is the wholistic view presented in this book.
