Monthly ledger book for male employees from January 1955 thru October 1956.
On the inside front cover, at the bottom, is a list of holidays for 1955S.
In the front of the ledger are two loose handwritten pages.
One page written by Brenton Scharff appears to be a list of duties & how much time is spent doing the duties. On the back side of this sheet is a probation report.
The second sheet is a handwritten page by C. Parsons. This page is entitled "Work of every hour while on duty in ward". This lists duties from 2 pm till 10 pm.
The first pages of the ledger are an alphabetized list of employees. Behind the employees name is the page in the ledger where you can find information as to when the employee started work, his address, & vacation days taken for the years 1955 & 1956.
Starting on page 2 of the ledger is a list of employees, last name & first initial only. The employees are listed by month & how many days they worked that month. Also listed is the number of sick days taken that month. B. Scharff has signed his name at the end of each month.
