The More Destructive Grasshoppers of Kansas published in 1897 is subtitled a Bulletin on Destructive Grasshoppers of Kansas. The authors were surveying damage by grasshoppers in that year. They provide information on the life history and habits of various species and then include natural and artificial remedies. Six species are described in detail and drawings are included for identification.
