Navajo Weavers, Navajo Silversmiths. Two papers published for the Bureau of Ethnology by a physican among the Indians who was already a serious ethnographer, publishing "Grammar & Dictionary of the Hidatsa (1873) "and "Ethnography & Philology of the Hidatsa (1877)". "Navajo Silversmithing" was published in 2nd Report to Bureau for 1880-1881 and "Navajo Weavers" was published in the 3rd Report for 1881-1882.
