Legend: "Needle Rocks Overland Stage and Pony Express station area. View to eastward. This station, 44 miles west of Fort Bridger, was located on Yellow Creek a little west of the mouth of Coyote Creek and took its name from the rocks above. It was the last station in what is now Wyoming and was at a point just a few miles before the trails dropped into the famous Echo Canyon to descend towards the Salt Lake Valley. Not ranch roads still following the Overland route up through Coyote Canyon from Fort Bridger, Muddy, Aspen, and Bear River Stations." 4/60" old digital file name: UTNeedleRocksStation
