Abstract of Title, Oliver, Glass & Wilson's Addition to the City of St. Joseph, Lot 13, & vacated part of Jones Street South of same in Block 6. Originally part of a larger 1846 plot of land granted to Simeon Kemper by U.S. President James K. Polk (NW ¼of Section Nine, Township 57, Range 35 containing 160 acres). It became the Oliver, Glass, Wilson Addition. c. 1856. (Current location would be SW corner 19th & Jones Streets.) Includes allocation of specific Lots to heirs of Glass, and to Taylor Oliver, & Lemuel Dupuy, 1857. Plat map included. Subsequent sales of Lots 13-15 to 1923. 1906 affidavit of Brittain family who were to inherit lots after the death of their parents, Samuel & Huldah Brittain.Lexicon
