Legend: " Pioneer Overland Trail Road (with tree in it). View to north as old road ascended from Rock Creek Station and crossing beyond. Overland Trail ruts, marking one of the greatest migrations in our country--the settlement of the West--have almost been erased by time and cultivation except in a few places as above. For location, inquire at Indicott, Nebraska.
