On June 17, 1922, Lee C Broom leased the property at 416-418 Francis
Lee C Broom constructed the Hotel Jerome on the site
The hotel, a six-story, 75-room hotel, opened in 1922 at 416-418 Francis Street
The hotel was managed by Mr Harold Gordon.
In 1936, the Lee Broom restaurant was located in the adjoining building at 420 Francis
The restaurant later became Gordon's Restaurant
On the 1st day of August 1936, Broom leased all property for 15 years to William T. Wheeler
Lee C Broom passed away in June 1946
The hotel was gutted by fire on March 4, 1957, and ordered by the city to be demolished.
