The Corby Building (SW Corner 5th & Felix) Circa 1902 CORBY-FORSEE BUILDING 422-428 Felix Circa 1942 CORBY-FORSEE BUILDING 422-428 Felix Circa 1958 CORBY-FORSEE BUILDING 422-428 Felix Circa 1986 THE FOUNTAINS APARTMENTS CORBY PLACE 422-428 Felix In 1910, the John Corby and Dr Edgar Forsee Corporation constructed a 12 story building called the Corby-Forsee Building at 422 Felix In 1927, an addition of another floor was added to house the St Joseph Grain Exchange making the building 13 stories tall It was the 1st multi-level office complex to be built in St Joseph The building had 200 offices, each with it's own lavatory In May 1986, the Fountains opened for tenents It has been converted into a senior living complex called The Fountains at Corby Place
