OLE MAN JACKSON FURNITURE
4th & Charles
Ole Man Jackson had 2 stores, his 1st store was located at 4th & Charles
His 2nd store was at 307-311 South 6th (see 6th Street for the photo)
Ole Man Jackson can be seen lounging in the recliner in this photo
The photo was taken around 1962 on 5th Street just south of Edmond during the Apple Blossom Parade
Rick Stafford's sister, Carol (Stafford) Kramer, is the girl standing up showing off the Westinghouse refrigerator
Jackson and Rick's father were very close friends and he wanted Carol to be the "Westinghouse lady" in the parade
Ole man Jackson Furniture was not the same as the Jackson furniture store that was on South 6th
Ole Man Jackson also had another store in the 1970's south of Betty Jackson's store next to the Greyhound depot at 6th and Charles
In the 1960's Ole Man Jackson had the largest furniture store in Northwest MO
