Circa: 1847 Zion Church 4th & Francis Street 1881 pencil sketch of a church at 4th & Francis This church was built in 1847 by Rev. T.S. Reeve and the New School Presbyterians Zion's German Evangelical Church bought the building in 1865 and stayed until October 1881 The Saxton National Bank was organized in 1883 It cut down the hill at this site and erected its building there This bank lasted until 1894, when it was consolidated with Schuster-Hax National Bank and reorganized as the First National Bank of Buchanan County.
