Photograph Album of Martin Thomas, St. Joseph Parks Superintendent, 1930s. Photos taken by Martin Thomas during his term as St. Joseph Park Superintendent. Many photos of the parkway/boulevard system in different seasons. In the 1930s, the Civilian Conservation Corps remodeled Krug Park - bowl, lagoon, etc. Photos of this work being done. Also photos of work the CCC did along the bluffs, including the stone shelter house. Other parks also photographed. Most of photos were taken in the in 1938 & 1939. b/w Loose photos numbered 05.8.2-10 with negatives in envelope inserted into album Original digital scans of select photos on History CD 20.
