Pines (The) Residence, 3 Hundley Drive, Photo. c. 1960 b/w. Photo of large 2-story plantation-style home as seen from its south side, evergreen tree partly blocking a view of the front, which has 2-story high pillars supporting the covered porch.
Built in 1850. Said to be the location where Robert Wilson met with leaders from Northwest Missouri to urge men from departing from the Union at the beginning of the Civil War. Wilson was later named as Vice President, then President of the State Convention to determine the question of secession.
