Research Notes

Notes

This projectile point is called a St. Charles Corner Notch point and is between 10,000 and 8,000 years old. During this time, the Early Archaic people would have been hunting deer, elk, bear, and wolves. Mammoths had gone extinct almost 1000 years before this projectile point was created.
