Arrow heads made by the Nueces Canyon Indians who came down to Northern Old Mexico and camped in these hills in the winter time. This man found over 2 bushels of arrow at three different camps. He has 30 beautiful frame-fuls besides about a bushel of loose ones in which we picked these form. The large stone is a scraper. These arrow heads Geo says were old. Hunted mostly birds, rabbits, and snakes. They subsisted on most anything they could find on these barren hills some 100 feet high. These Indians traveled from up here in Texas to winter. of course at this time this was all Mexico - I trust you will enjoy these specimens as I stopped and picked up some of these on the hills when Geo. and I was on a duck hunting trip recently. We got our limit, 24 ducks. This stone you will find in the box is a hide scraper. Signed, Uncle Doctor.
